Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, the Women’s Empowerment Committee in our college, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the Presidency of the University of Mosul, held on Monday, January 9, 2023, the scientific workshop tagged The Role of the Legal Clinic In achieving the requirements of women’s empowerment, which witnessed the submission of a number of research papers dealing with the development of women’s awareness of the dangers of extremism and terrorism, the dangers of drugs and their impact on women, the economic empowerment of women and its obstacles, the constitutional protection of women from domestic violence and the rights of working women in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 315 and crimes of domestic violence against women in the law Iraqi penalties, family disintegration and its risks to women, women’s work in personal status law and the role of women in the digital world. At the end of the workshop, the dean of the college distributed a number of certificates Appreciation tools for researchers, gentlemen, the chairman and members of the Preparatory Committee, and this workshop comes within a series of scientific, cultural and student activities of our college during the current academic year 2022-2023.
