It is also known for excellence… The University of Mosul achieves the highest awards in the Iraqi Flag Day, which is held annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in celebration of the scientific achievements of Iraqi universities…

The University of Mosul achieved first place by winning awards for each academic and service detail…
Where it won two awards for the best scientific journal through the “Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Sciences” for the years 2021 and 2022.
In the best distinguished scientific research section, the university had 8 awards in different scientific disciplines.
As for the authored book, it won 3 awards.
While I got one award in the category of the best free volunteer work,
And the patents had a paragraph in this scientific gathering, so that the University of Mosul won 3 other awards,
As for the best graduation project, I got 3 awards in it.
With this great achievement, the University of Mosul is the first in the ranking compared to the rest of the other Iraqi universities, as the University of Baghdad got 15
Prize, University of Babylon 16 Prize, University of Kufa 15,
and the University of Basra 12 awards,
With all this scientific brilliance and the will to achieve higher ranks, the University of Mosul has proven that it is a deep scientific root and ripe fruits that yield good food…. that brings good to it and to society, despite all the destruction and vandalism it was exposed to during periods of darkness…
That is why it deserved to be at the forefront of the Iraqi scientific scene, because it is the environment of science and scientists…
