Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul, participated in the workshop held by the International Rescue Committee during the period 22-23 January 2023, which dealt with issues related to refugees and communities that are victims of repression or violent conflicts in all parts of the world, taking into account the principle of Dignity, human freedom and self-reliance with the provision of relief in emergencies, the protection of human rights, the development of conflict zones and assistance in settlement. The workshop witnessed a remarkable presence of researchers, academics, specialists and those interested in legal and societal affairs. At the end of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants. This participation also comes within the endeavor of the Deanship of our college to motivate its affiliates to participate in scientific, cultural and community activities that are held by state departments and institutions, in addition to civil society organizations and its various institutions, and the role of this in community awareness of everything that would achieve stability, prosperity and progress.
