In the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul, the first periodic meeting of the UNESCO chair was held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, after the entry into force of the agreement to establish a UNESCO chair at the University of Mosul for rejecting violent extremism and promoting a culture of peace, where Professor Dr. Mounir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University chaired Mosul for Scientific Affairs The above meeting was attended by all chair members, and plans related to scientific and research activities and events that the chair will supervise during the current academic year 2022_2023 were discussed, in addition to discussing a number of issues related to the organizational aspects of the work of the chair. Its interest in the scientific and cognitive aspects and its work to build bridges of academic communication at all national and international levels, and its role in enhancing the scientific sobriety of our dear college and our ancient university.
