Master’s thesis in the branch of private law on the electronic information service contract / a comparative study

On Sunday, July 9, 2023, the Private Law Branch at the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the electronic information service contract / a comparative study, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty, and a number of faculty members and faculty members.
The thesis submitted by the student Adel Jamil Elias in the Private Law Branch dealt with the electronic information service contract, which is one of the new contracts, which is concluded between two parties, one of whom is called the service provider and the other is the customer, and this contract contains, in addition to its main parties, other indirect parties that have an important role in the success of the conclusion of this contract and the customer’s access to his main goal, which is to obtain electronic information.

The message aims to show that the electronic information service contract is not necessarily an electronic contract, but it can be a contract of traditional contracts in terms of the way it is concluded, and the shop in this contract is completely different from the shop in traditional contracts, the shop here is a set of electronic information provided by the information service provider to the customer who contracts with him, and this information has a moral character, not a material character, as it turns into a material character if it is merged and converted And store them in physical media such as computers and other media.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Akram Mahmoud Hussein, the membership of Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Salah Yassin, Assistant Professor Dr. Sahar Hazel Ghanem, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah.
