In the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Abdel Wahab Abdullah, Director of the Graduate Studies Division, and a number of members of the College Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of our college, met on Sunday, September 10, 2023, with the graduate students accepted into our college for the academic year 2023-2024, where he welcomed our students at the beginning of the meeting. Dear Sirs, he directed everyone to the importance of full compliance with the laws, regulations and instructions that govern postgraduate studies, referring to the scientific mechanism approved in the postgraduate student’s journey as an integrated scientific project that contributes to supplying state institutions with specialized scientific expertise after completing his studies. The administrative procedures and academic file related to the student and the importance of completing it were also discussed. Especially with regard to non-objection and study leave for our students working in state departments and institutions, with reference to the necessity of adhering to the scientific plan drawn up by the teaching staff and the scientific publication of research and studies prepared in international libraries, newspapers and solid scientific journals, in addition to stating the time period for each semester and the method approved for distribution. The grades are based on the oral and written examinations. The Dean of the College and the members of the College Council also expressed the readiness of the College with all its scientific and administrative departments to work and contribute to overcoming any dilemma that might befall our students in their academic career. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the College and the gentlemen attending wished success to our dear students in service of the path of creativity and excellence. In Mesopotamia, which taught humanity to read and write and contributed to providing the world with various sciences and knowledge across time and civilizations, this meeting comes within a series of periodic meetings of the members of the College Council with its scientific and administrative cadres and students, as they are considered basic pillars in the process of progress and prosperity in Iraq’s history and civilizations.
