Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, regarding the necessity of openness and interaction with society, and based on the plans and programs of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and members of the College Council, a number of professors and teaching staff visited our college on Wednesday. Corresponding to November 22, 2023, a number of schools in Nineveh Governorate, and a number of guidance lectures were given on the use of electronic means, social communication, and electronic blackmail and their danger to the security of society and the safety of its members, with an explanation of the precautionary means to combat them and how to avoid and eliminate them. Samples were also taken from students regarding real-life cases that were exposed to cases. Electronic blackmail, where the teachers explained the effects of this scourge on the entity and stability of society, and this initiative was accepted and approved by the school administrations, which praised the fruitful role of the University of Mosul and its colleges and centers, which had an effective impact in spreading scientific and human culture in its various specializations among the groups and segments of society, and from It is worth noting that these visits will continue during the current academic year 2023-2024 and will be directed to all segments of society.
