Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, regarding the necessity of openness and interaction with society, and based on the plans and programs of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and members of the College Council, a number of professors and teaching staff visited our college on Wednesday. Corresponding to December 6, 2023, a number of schools in Nineveh Governorate, and guidance lectures were given on the use of electronic means and social communication, the phenomenon of bullying and electronic blackmail, and its danger to the security of society and the safety of its members, with an explanation of the precautionary means to combat it and how to avoid and eliminate it, as the teachers explained the effects of this scourge on the entity of society. And its stability. The initiative was accepted and welcomed by school administrations, which praised the fruitful role of the University of Mosul and its colleges and research centers, which had an effective impact in spreading scientific and human culture in its various specializations among the groups and segments of society. It is worth noting that these visits will continue during the current academic year. 2023-2024 and will be directed to all segments of society.
