A number of female faculty members from our college participated on Monday, December 4, 2023, in the work of the training course entitled Violence against Women/A Legal Vision, which was held by the Women’s Empowerment Committee at the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit in the Presidency of the University of Mosul. The participation was represented by our female faculty members delivering a number of Specialized legal lectures that dealt with the position of the Iraqi Constitution on the international regulation of women’s rights, the negative effects of domestic violence on society, the constitutional and legal regulation of the phenomenon of violence against women, and administrative responsibility for violence against women. These lectures come within a series of scientific, research, cultural, and academic activities for members of our college in the context of its openness and interaction with The community and work to interact with the colleges of the University of Mosul and its research centers in a way that contributes to community awareness and dissemination of scientific and humanitarian culture.
