Workshop

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, Dr. Rawaa Younis Al-Najjar and Dr. Raya Sami Saeed / Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul participated in the workshop held by the Sustainable Development Unit / Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, tagged (Activating the Sustainable Development Goals – Objective Tenth – Reducing inequalities) Participation was represented by a number of research papers that dealt with the sustainable development goals, which represent plans to achieve a better, more sustainable future for all, as the sustainable development goals address global challenges related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace, and justice, and the law has a role. It is prominent and effective in achieving these goals, which requires the presence of effective legal mechanisms as part of the regulatory apparatus. At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants were honored with certificates of appreciation, and the participation of our college teaching staff in the above-mentioned workshop activities comes within the plans of the Deanship of the College and its programs to motivate its members to participate in scientific and research activities and events. And the cultural and societal issues established by the colleges of the University of Mosul and its research centers, their contribution to scientific communication and cognitive interaction, and the role of this in reaching scientific results that contribute to achieving goals related to scientific development and societal stability.
