College of Law

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and members of the College Council, a number of college teachers participated on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the workshop entitled (Reading of Compensation Law No. 20 of the year 2009) which was established by our college in cooperation with the Obelisk Organization, which dealt with compensation law. Our college teachers had many interventions and put forward recommendations and amendments for many cases that require treatment and reparation for damage. The importance of spreading awareness and culture, legal protection, equal opportunities, and social justice was also addressed, and developing strategies to establish A calm and stable society. The workshop witnessed a distinguished presence of academics, researchers, those interested in legal affairs, and representatives of civil society organizations, who asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it.
