Calls upon the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Al-Saadi, Dean of the College
And the preparatory committee to prepare and train our college team that will participate in the sixth student commercial arbitration competition scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Students who wish, in accordance with the conditions below, must register via the link, which will be available for a period of 15 days from the date of publication, corresponding to the first of July 2024, noting that applicants will be subject to an interview in front of The preparatory committee to compare among themselves and choose our college team in this competition.
Registration conditions:
1. The competition will be held under the auspices of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration through remote arbitration sessions during the month of January 2025 and another in person in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the month of February 2025.
2. It is required that the person wishing to be nominated to participate in the above competition be one of the preliminary studies students at the College of Law at the University of Mosul (non-graduate).
3. The applicant’s proficiency in classical Arabic in a sound, clear and understandable manner.
4. The applicant’s proficiency in English at an intermediate level.
4. Broad knowledge of the legal culture, especially the rules of commercial arbitration and international trade transactions.
6. The applicant’s commitment, if he chooses, to attend the training lectures at the specified time and provide appropriate and sufficient time to fulfill the duties assigned to him by the preparatory committee within the framework of training to participate in the competition.
7. The applicant must know that if the team is nominated for the final advanced stages of the competition, it will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in person.
