Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, the continuing education unit in our college concluded on Monday, July 22, 2024, the work of the development course for state and public sector employees entitled Occupational Safety, which is a basic pillar for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, as the above course seeks to Promoting awareness and culture about occupational safety procedures and adherence to them, as well as educating participants about the legal responsibility resulting from shortcomings or neglect of occupational safety procedures, while providing them with the necessary knowledge to achieve a balance between the commitment to achieving a goal and the commitment to exert care in the field of occupational safety. Specialized lectures were also given throughout the course days on Its subject, and at the conclusion of its work, the participants were awarded certificates of appreciation by the dean of the college, which seeks to communicate and continuously interact with state departments and institutions in addition to civil society organizations, and work to raise awareness of the laws, regulations, and instructions that regulate public employment, as well as community awareness of legally protected rights, with a statement of the obligations contained in Laws and legislation in force, and this course comes within a series of scientific, cultural and student activities of our college during the current academic year 2023-2024.
