On World Environment Day

Human right to the environment and responsibility for protection,,,
The environment constitutes the environment in which man lives and works to develop it in a manner that suits his basic needs, and its protection represents a necessary matter from the humanitarian, legal, economic and social aspects. The concept of international protection and legal regulation at the national and international levels are among the axioms that must be taken into account due to the importance of such protection in preserving man as a supreme value in his life and health in general. Countries, individually and collectively, aspire to provide such protection through the integration of the international and national legal system and working to harmonize national legislation with the agreements that countries have ratified and become parties to in order to solve the problem of pollution and reach scientifically acceptable rates that are not harmful to man, his health and his related rights for present and future generations.
This slogan, which the United Nations adopted this year, was previously used in 1972 (half a century ago) at the Stockholm Conference through the United Nations Environment Program, as 2.6 billion people depend directly on agriculture, and 52 percent of the land used in agriculture is slightly or severely affected by As a result of soil degradation due to climate change, the degradation of agricultural land affects 1.5 billion people worldwide, especially agricultural countries. The increase in the loss of arable land during the period following climate change since countries became interested in climate as a result of gas emissions, increased factory operations, increased pollutants and other direct activities and migration from the countryside to the city is estimated at 30 to 35 times the general average for decades. The environmental celebration is witnessing the presence of three crises: climate change, loss of biodiversity, and the risk of pollution and waste. Accordingly, the United Nations and the countries of the world are required today, in light of the environmental challenges, to work on drawing up a clear policy towards climate issues and the negative effects it has on human rights to life, freedom, education, health, physical integration, mobility and other basic rights that constitute a pivotal matter that is directly consistent with any external influences that push people to displacement, migration or asylum in search of a safe, clean environment or clean energy. This constitutes another obstacle and a problem added to the problems of environmental pollution in its three forms: land, water and air. Also, the relentless pursuit of legislation, agriculture and taking measures Urgent measures to stop desertification and sand encroachment and eliminate the underlying causes of climate change are the responsibility of all countries and the United Nations alike because we are facing serious environmental crises that have direct and indirect effects on the human being, the son of that environment. World Environment Day – which is supervised by the United Nations Environment Program and celebrated annually on June 5 since 1973 – is the largest global platform for public environmental awareness.
