In the interest of the University to communicate and interact with state departments and institutions and within the programs of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and the members of the College Council in presenting legal research and studies aimed at combating extremism leading to terrorism, Professor Dr. Muhammad Izzat Fadhel, one of the lecturers in the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, was honored by the National Security Advisor, Mr. Qasim Al-Araji, at an official celebration of the National Security Advisory / National Committee for Combating Extremism Leading to Terrorism within its first annual conference held in the capital, Baghdad. This honor came on the occasion of the winning of the research entitled (Rejecting Political Sectarianism and Promoting Citizenship) by the student Rashad Sultan Karim / College of Law at the University of Mosul among the best five specialized academic researches at the level of Iraq. It is worth noting that the above research was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Izzat Fadhel.
