Dr. Muhammad Izzat Fadhel, one of the lecturers in the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, won the UNESCO Chair Award in the research competition on peacebuilding and rejecting violent extremism with his research entitled (Confronting Violent Extremism from the Perspective of Constitutional Law) in second place in the results of the research competition, which is the first of its kind in the field of supporting peace programs.
