A scientific workshop for the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit on the pillars of building a CV

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, and Dr. Omar Qusay, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and under the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Abdul Sattar Jabr, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit in our college, and in cooperation with the Academy of Development Capabilities, a scientific workshop was held in our college today, Tuesday, February 4, 2025, on the pillars of building a CV, during which Professor Mahmoud Fayez Mahmoud Kadawi gave specialized lectures on how to write a CV and the acquired experiences it includes, indicating that collecting data is the first step that must be characterized by accuracy and credibility, indicating the requirements for writing a CV (personal skills, certificates and their types, volunteer work, previous work and experiences), explaining that the skill may be more necessary than the certificate, especially with regard to work in the private sector, reviewing the types of skills (Hard skills related to a specific specialty, soft skills that are general and supportive skills), and the workshop also witnessed a statement on how to acquire the skill (training courses, academic study, self-education, practicing hobbies, volunteering). The workshop also witnessed a practical exercise on how to write a CV, then the attendees from researchers, academics and students asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it, then the researchers were honored with certificates of appreciation in appreciation of their efforts in holding this workshop, which comes within a series of scientific, research, cultural and student activities for our college during the current academic year 2024-2025.
