Visit to the High Commission for Human Rights / Nineveh Office

Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, on the necessity of openness and interaction with society and its various institutions, and based on the plans and programs of the Deanship of the College of Law, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, on the importance of building bridges of scientific communication and cognitive interaction with state departments and institutions, Dr. Shaima Abdul Sattar Jabr, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law, participated in the membership of the university delegation that included the Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul and the unit officials in the colleges who visited the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights / Nineveh Office. The meeting was held with Professor Yasser Diaa, Director of the Office and a number of his employees, with a discussion of ways to open horizons of cooperation between the colleges of the University of Mosul and the office and ways to involve students in the orientation and rehabilitation lectures undertaken by the office and the possibility of our college students conducting field visits to the office and reviewing the services provided by it. The possibility of students joining organizations concerned with monitoring the reality of human rights and the mechanism for establishing them was also discussed. This visit comes in The framework of the efforts of the presidency of the University of Mosul and its colleges to involve its students in the labor market and humanitarian and charitable organizations concerned with providing humanitarian aid.
