Visit to the Elderly Home

Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and as part of the extracurricular activities of the Legal Clinic, a number of our college’s faculty members and students, specializing in various humanities and sciences, and in cooperation and coordination with the Legal Aids team, visited the Elderly Home in Nineveh Governorate on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The visit included an inspection of the elderly residents and an examination of their living conditions. For their part, the residents of the home posed a number of questions and inquiries related to personal and civil status matters, which were recorded for referral to specialists for accurate responses. The visiting delegation also presented a number of gifts in kind, as a token of appreciation from the Deanship of our College and its staff to the residents of the home, as they represent a segment of society in need of support and assistance. This visit is part of a series of activities undertaken by the College of Law to communicate and open up to the community, its various groups, and its institutions.
