Participation of the College of Law in the awareness workshop entitled “Laws and Instructions for University Students”
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and within the framework of implementing the National Strategic Plan for Education and Higher Education 2021-2031, Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah, a lecturer in the Private Law Department at the College of Law and Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, participated on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the awareness workshop entitled “Laws and Instructions for University Students”, which was held by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the University of Mosul Presidency, in cooperation with the Legal Aids Volunteer Team and the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ awareness of Iraqi and international criminal and civil laws and legislation. The workshop also addressed cyber-extortion and drug crimes, their effects, and their dangerous impact on individuals and society. The workshop witnessed a distinguished presence from the Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, its academic and administrative staff, and students, as well as the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the University of Mosul Presidency. Our college’s participation in the above workshop is part of its plans and programs for openness, communication, and interaction with the scientific, research, cultural, and student activities and events held by the University of Mosul’s colleges and research centers.
