Specialized Scientific Lecture in the Workshop “Domestic Violence”

Dr. Lamia Hashem Salem and Dr. Zahraa Hisham Ibrahim, from the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the workshop “Domestic Violence.” The workshop was held by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Environmental Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the College of Law. The participation consisted of two specialized scientific lectures that addressed the definition of domestic violence, its dangers, and its effects on the individual and the family, while also explaining its causes and examining its physical, psychological, and societal effects. The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance of faculty members, researchers, academics, and students, who raised numerous questions and inquiries about the topic, which were answered in detail by the organizers. The above participation comes as part of the Deanship of our College’s efforts to communicate and interact with the scientific, research, cultural, and student activities and events held by the University of Mosul’s colleges and research centers.
