A qualifying workshop on how to file a civil lawsuit and the conditions for its acceptance.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit held its qualifying workshop entitled “How to File a Civil Lawsuit and the Conditions for its Acceptance” at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The workshop featured a number of lectures and research papers that addressed the concept of civil lawsuits, their procedures, steps, and motivations, the reasons that drive an individual to file them, the court legally authorized to consider them, the mechanism for submitting defenses and issuing a judgment, how to appeal it, and its legal duration until it becomes final. The workshop witnessed a distinguished presence from the college’s deanship, faculty, and students, who asked numerous questions and inquiries about the topic, which were answered in detail by those in charge. Finally, the college’s deanship honored the researchers and participants in the above-mentioned workshop with certificates of appreciation in appreciation of their efforts in organizing this event. The activity is part of a series of scientific, research, cultural and student activities for our college during the current academic year 2024-2025.
