The meeting came on the sidelines of the college’s hosting of the special training workshops held by the Commission for its technical cadres. During the meeting, ways of maintaining communication and developing cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Independent High Electoral Commission in Nineveh were discussed. This visit comes within the framework of the Faculty of Law’s keenness on active community engagement and its contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the sixteenth goal on “promoting peace, justice and strong institutions.” It also highlights the university’s role as a strategic partner in supporting national institutions and building specialized professional cadres.
