Faculty Members Participate in a Workshop

Dr. Shaimaa Abdul Sattar Jabr and Dr. Ikram Basil Dhunoun, both faculty members at the College of Law, participated in a workshop organized by the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Agriculture and Forestry, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the same college. The workshop, titled “Integrity and Transparency and Their Role in Combating Corruption,” was held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the Al-Hadbaa Hall. Dr. Shaimaa addressed the legal mechanisms for maintaining academic integrity, discussing the most prominent forms of academic integrity violations, the disciplinary and criminal penalties imposed, and the minimum standards for academic integrity. Dr. Ikram Basil discussed the Federal Board of Supreme Audit and its role in combating corruption, highlighting its main components and the types of oversight it exercises. This participation is part of the College of Law’s ongoing activities to promote and raise awareness of legal culture.
