The University Psychological Counseling Division at our college, in cooperation with the University of Mosul Presidency/Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit, and on the occasion of launching the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week program for 2025, held a workshop on Sunday, November 16, 2025, entitled “Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and Their Negative Effects on Society.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Osama Ahmed Mohammed. The workshop addressed the harms of drugs and their social dangers, the types of drugs, and the penalties imposed on drug dealers, users, and manufacturers. This workshop is part of the awareness and guidance programs offered and disseminated by the University Psychological Counseling Division to prevent the dangers of drugs and protect our students from them.
