College of Law Organizes Training Course Entitled

“Mechanisms for Detecting Administrative and Financial Corruption”

The Committee for Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption at the College of Law, University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course entitled “Mechanisms for Detecting Administrative and Financial Corruption” as part of the National Security Strategy for Combating Corruption.

The course included two lectures. The first, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Mohammed Ahmed, was entitled “Criminal Methods in Detecting Administrative and Financial Corruption.” The second lecture, presented by Lecturer Dr. Lamia Hashim Salem, was entitled “Administrative Oversight for Detecting Administrative and Financial Corruption.” Both lectures addressed the latest legal and oversight methods adopted in combating corruption and promoting transparency within government institutions.

The course was held in the Virtual Courtroom at the College of Law on Monday and Tuesday mornings, November 17-18, 2025, with the participation of a group of faculty members and staff. This initiative contributes to supporting national efforts aimed at reducing corruption and establishing the principles of integrity in administrative work.
