Visit

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the College of Law at the University of Mosul welcomed a group of female students and teachers from Al-Zuhour Preparatory School for Girls. This visit was part of a student visit program aimed at introducing the university environment and enhancing legal awareness among school students.
The students were received by the Career, Employment, and Follow-up Division, which led them on a tour of the college’s units and departments. They learned about the main legal subjects taught there and visited the college library, where they explored its collection of books, periodicals, and volumes covering various legal specializations.
During the visit, an awareness and guidance lecture was presented by the Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division, the Head of the Career, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, and the Head of the Human Rights Law Branch.
The lecture addressed several important topics, most notably negative behaviors prevalent in society such as cyber extortion, bullying, and drug abuse. It also explained the legal and preventative measures that should be taken to mitigate these risks and protect students from their negative effects on their present and future. This visit comes as part of a series of awareness and training activities implemented by the University of Mosul, with the aim of spreading legal culture among students and motivating them to enroll in the College of Law in the future, which contributes to strengthening the values of justice and legal awareness in society.
