Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Law, the College’s Sustainable Development Committee, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul, organized a training workshop entitled “Scientific Promotions According to the Electronic System and its Updates” on Monday, December 1, 2025.

The workshop included a comprehensive presentation of the current scientific promotion regulations and an explanation of the most important updates and related ministerial directives. It also highlighted the standards of scientific research rigor adopted in promotion procedures. Furthermore, the workshop addressed the mechanisms for using the electronic system for scientific promotions and the steps required to accurately complete promotion files. In addition, it discussed the most prominent technical and administrative observations that contribute to avoiding common errors in promotion procedures.

The workshop was managed by the College’s Scientific Promotions Division, which expressed its gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of this activity, including the preparatory committees and supporting entities. The Division also expressed its appreciation for the College Dean’s ongoing support of all scientific and developmental activities.
