A Master’s thesis defense was held at the College of Law, University of Mosul, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, for student Taghreed Abdullah Hammadi. Her thesis was titled:

“Specification of International Legal Rules: A Study within the Scope of Public International Law.”

The thesis addressed the topic of specification of international legal rules, clarifying the concept of the rule of specification and its importance within the framework of public international law, as well as its role in developing and building the international legal system.

The student aimed in her study to define and identify the rule of specification in international law.

She also aimed to explain the role of the rule of specification within the scope of international rules and to highlight its contribution to the development of international law.

The examining committee consisted of:

The discussion witnessed a rich scientific debate, during which the committee presented its scientific observations on the subject of the thesis and its methodology, wishing the student further success in her academic career.
