Dr. Saeed Khadida Al-Sinjari and Lecturer Ikram Basil Dhunoun participated in a workshop titled “Financial Rights of Public Employees,” organized by the Human Rights Unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul Presidency and the Studies and Planning Department/Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Dr. Saeed Khadida Al-Sinjari, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul Presidency, delivered a lecture addressing the various aspects of public employees’ financial rights, reviewing the legal and regulatory frameworks that guarantee these rights. Assistant Lecturer Ikram Basil Dhunoun, a faculty member in the College of Law/Public Law Department, presented a lecture on the factors affecting public employees’ financial rights and their practical implications for employment.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Assistant Professor Dr. Waseem Hanna Kroumi, Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, presented certificates of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their scholarly efforts and active participation in the workshop’s success.
This workshop is part of a series of activities implemented by the university, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, 8, 10, and 16, affirming the university’s role in disseminating legal awareness and promoting the principles of justice and employment rights.
