Master’s thesis discussion

The Master’s thesis submitted by student Shukriya Ghanem Hassan Issa, entitled “Dispute Resolution Boards in Construction Contracts – A Comparative Study,” was discussed at the Faculty of Law on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
The thesis addressed the system of dispute resolution boards as a modern and important system for resolving disputes arising from construction contracts. This system is effective in settling disputes amicably, ensuring the continuity of work and preventing work stoppages or delays in project completion. Furthermore, it plays an increasing role in international trade as an optional alternative to traditional courts.
The study aimed to demonstrate the importance of dispute resolution boards as a modern and effective means of resolving disputes during project implementation, while also highlighting their comparative legal dimensions.
The examining committee consisted of:
