How beautiful is a smile on a face that has known pain, and how beautiful is a heart overflowing with joy for a heart awaiting the helping hands of its brothers!

Today, a bridge rose over the chasm of separation. It was not a bridge of cement and iron, but a bridge of hands extended in kindness, and hearts that embody all the meaning of humanity. In the village of Batnaya, where the wounds of time run deep, law students arrived carrying something more precious than books: they carried seeds of love, watered with tears of joy, and from them sprouted smiles in the eyes of our people, the most beautiful thing in the universe. We transformed the “Bridge of Mercy” into a passage of brotherhood, weaving from the threads of moments a memory that will remain vibrant in our hearts. The alleys of the old village witnessed the dance of joy, tears of gratitude mingled with tears of happiness, and the hands of students met the hands of grandparents and children, in a tableau painted by love in all the colors of faith.

Thank you to every heart that beat with the idea, becoming a beacon of goodness; to every hand that contributed to the construction, becoming the bridge’s foundation; and to every eye that saw in another a brother, transforming the encounter into a celebration. This is the Iraq we dream of: a homeland whose bridges are built of love, whose plains are sown with loyalty, and whose nights are illuminated by the stars of promising youth who believe that truth is not taught only in lecture halls, but practiced in the streets of life and in people’s hearts.
