The Private Law Branch at the College of Law, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul, held a scientific workshop entitled:

“Legal Issues in Ownership Claims: Between Text and Application.” The workshop was held under the theme: “Ownership Claims: Real-World Problems and Challenges of Solutions.”

The workshop was attended by faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students. Discussions focused on the most prominent practical and legal issues related to ownership claims, highlighting the gap between legal texts and judicial application, and proposing a number of sound legal solutions and approaches.

This workshop reflects the College of Law’s commitment to promoting scientific research and bridging the gap between theory and practice, thereby contributing to the development of legal knowledge and serving practical realities.

The workshop was held on Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025, in Dr. Layla Hall at the College of Law.
