As part of its scientific activities aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and achieving quality education, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department/Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, held a scientific workshop entitled “Prospects of Sports Law.”

The workshop was held in Dr. Layla Hall, with the participation of a number of faculty members, researchers, and those interested in legal and sports affairs. It addressed several topics related to the legal framework of sports and the importance of developing sports legislation in line with national and international standards.

The workshop organizers emphasized that this event comes within the framework of enhancing legal awareness in the field of sports and opening scientific and research horizons that contribute to supporting the sports movement and consolidating the principles of justice and integrity in sports institutions. They also stressed the continuation of scientific activities that serve the community and contribute to achieving sustainable development.
