A Scouting Trip from the College of Law Explores Mosul’s Ancient Landmarks
The scouting team from the College of Law at the University of Mosul organized a cultural field trip to the heart of the Old City, led by Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Othman and including several faculty members.
The trip aimed to introduce students to the cultural and historical heritage of Mosul. Participants toured several distinctive archaeological and historical sites, including Talqli’at, Al-Kawazin, the Prophet Jirjis Mosque, the Al-Nouri Mosque, Hammam Al-Manqousha, and Hadhirat Al-Sadah, learning about their architectural and artistic features that embody the city’s rich history and authenticity.
This trip was part of a series of extracurricular activities adopted by the college to strengthen national identity and enrich the practical and cultural aspects of law students, as well as to develop teamwork and leadership skills.
