on Thursday, May 13, 2022, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the role of the public prosecution in the administrative advocacy/a comparative study, part of which was attended by Prof. And a number of college council members and lecturers

The thesis presented by the student Noureddine Muhammad Elias in the public law branch dealt with the concept of public prosecution and its connection with the development of the idea of ​​justice until it became one of its main pillars, where justice emerges at the official level and appears as a tangible practice through institutions and main channels that organize a person’s social life. Examples of these institutions are the courts that The public prosecution belongs to it, and it also includes the law that regulates the work of the public prosecutor in the courts, so there is a link between law, society and justice

The message aims to show that the idea of ​​the public prosecution preceded its existence than the administrative lawsuit, as the public prosecution was found within the framework of the public lawsuit considered by the criminal courts, which represent the first lawsuits that appeared in history, and that the public prosecution systems that are in the public lawsuit that countries adopt all fall within Mixed systems with a preference for one system at the expense of another, and the public prosecution is a constitutional body or institution with a legal status that works to represent the right, monitor the course of justice, implement laws, and preserve the entity of the social body and its foundations through individuals appointed by the law and specifying the means of implementing their tasks
