College of Law

Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the supervision of the Presidency of the University of Mosul, represented by Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and with the follow-up of the Deanship of the College of Law, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and the members of the College Council, and with concerted efforts by the Presidency of the Committee for Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance. In cooperation with the scientific branches and their teachers, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, professors and teachers of our college delivered a unified lecture to the students of the preliminary study in which they explained the dangers of drugs, pointing out their concept, causes and effects, touching on the legal position and the position of Islamic law, stressing that drugs are a basis for destroying the human and family structure. And societal, in addition to its role in stopping the wheel of progress and development. The above lecture was delivered to the initial study students in our college, as it included 32 halls for morning study and 32 halls for evening study. The deanship of the college, with its branches, divisions, and units, also seeks to work on developing awareness programs and introductory bulletins, in addition to giving educational lectures. It includes all societal groups, showing the role of the deadliest and most destructive negative phenomena on society and its elements and pillars, while explaining ways to combat and eliminate them in order to reach the ultimate goal of a safe and stable society that leads the wheel of construction and contributes to human progress and cultural and cognitive prosperity in all its branches and forms.
