Doctoral dissertation in the private law branch on dissolution of contract/comparative study,,,
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis on the dissolution of a contract / a comparative study, part of which was blocked by Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Osama Ismail al-Mashhadani, President of the University of Nineveh, and Professor Dr. Munir Salem Taha. Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamid, Assistant President of the Nineveh University Council for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and a number of members of the Councils of the Universities of Mosul and Nineveh, in addition to a number of members of the Council of the College of Law and its teachers.
The thesis submitted by student Yazan Saeb Ahmed in the private law branch dealt with the dissolution of a contract, which is of great importance because contracts represent the main tool for developing and developing economic life, and the disappearance of the binding force of the contract through dissolution results in important effects that vary according to the method through which the contract is dissolved and the will An important role in dissolving a contract, as dissolution by will is one of the most common cases of dissolution of a contract, whether judicially, by agreement, or by dismissal.
The thesis aims to show that the contract is binding on its parties and acts as a law for them, and this binding force is a result of the principle of the authority of the will, and the basis of this force lies in the text of the law.
The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Amer Ashour Abdullah, the membership of Professor Dr. Yousry Walid Ibrahim, Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Raida Muhammad Ahmad, Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Hazem Muhammad, and the membership and supervision of Professor Dr. Akram Mahmoud Hussein.
