Dr. Muhammad Sami Yunus, one of the affiliates of the Public Law Branch in our college, delivered a scientific lecture on Monday 6/7/2021, entitled the position of the Iraqi legislator on the American Compliance Law (FATCA) and international double taxation, in which he addressed the concept of the above law, the reasons for its issuance, its financial implications at the international level, and the position of the Iraqi legislator. From him, in addition to explaining the appropriate solutions to alleviate his problems, i.e. the law

This lecture comes within the college’s plans and programs to hold scientific, cultural and student activities during the current academic year 2020/2021, which aim to spread the legal culture among the different groups of society by shedding light on topics and issues that directly or indirectly affect the community and the lives of its members, groups and different segments. At the end of the lecture, a number of scientific conclusions related to the topic of the lecture were presented, in addition to honoring the Dean of the College of Dr. Muhammad Sami Younis for his distinguished role and good efforts in delivering this lecture, which dealt with a vital topic of a high degree of importance
