In the presence of a number of members of the Council of the College of Law at the University of Mosul and its teachers, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of our College, received on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a delegation from the Sustainable Peace Organization, where ways to hold a number of joint activities were discussed, including holding a scientific symposium on the topic Electronic blackmail according to the perspectives of law, sociology, and psychology, as the above symposium is expected to be held at the end of February 2024, in which a number of our college teachers will participate in the specializations of civil law, criminal law, and personal status law. The above symposium comes within a series of cultural and community activities that were agreed to be held. The above meeting also represents the interactive role of our college in the context of its communication with scientific, research, academic and community institutions and the role of this in raising awareness of the dangers of everything new and emerging, while clarifying the position of the law and penal legislation regarding that.
