Master’s thesis on criminal protection of the website/comparative study _ College of law

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on criminal protection for the website. Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Neamat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Qidar Abdel Qader Saleh, Head of the Public Law Branch and a number of members of the College Council and its teachers

The master’s thesis presented by the student Zaid Hamid Sabbar in the Public Law Branch dealt with electronic crimes in general and crimes that affect websites in particular as a global criminal phenomenon. Technical disasters that threaten the security, safety and stability of the state, especially the security of websites, which are the focus of information security for countries

The study aims to define the website as texts, animations and audio files. The website consists of several types, including commercial and interactive websites, regional and international ones, official and unofficial ones. In addition, the study showed the advantages of the website and the types of legal protection for it

The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Nawzad Ahmed Yassin and the membership of Dr. Nofal Ali Abdullah and Dr. Zina Zuhair Muhammad Sheet, membership and supervision of Dr. Talal Abdel Hussein
