College of Law

In the interest of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul to interact and communicate with state departments and institutions and civil society organizations, and with the participation of a number of members and employees of the Nineveh Provincial Council, and as part of the activities of the Comprehensive Governance Enhancement Project, and at the invitation of the British humanitarian organization Oxfam working in Iraq, a number of professors and instructors from our college participated on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in the proceedings of the opening conference to discuss enhancing the capacity of the Nineveh Provincial Council to respond to the risks of climate change. This participation comes within the framework of our college’s efforts to motivate its members to participate in the activities and events held by state departments and institutions and the role of this in clarifying the legal position and working to spread legal culture among the various segments and classes of society.
