Master’s thesis in the Private Law Branch on the expiration of a civil lawsuit without a judgment / comparative study,,,
The Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed on Monday, September 23, 2024, a master’s thesis on the expiration of a civil lawsuit without a judgment / comparative study, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and a number of members of the College Council and its lecturers.

The thesis submitted by researcher Fouad Raad Hussein in the Private Law Branch dealt with the civil lawsuit, which is the practical application of one of the most important rights guaranteed by constitutions, which is the right to litigation, as it is considered the means approved by procedural legislation to exercise that right with the aim of obtaining the disputed substantive rights or obtaining judicial protection for those rights by stopping or preventing the assault on them.
The message aims to clarify that the expiry of a civil suit without a judgment is the expiry of a civil suit before the issuance of a final judicial ruling in it by virtue of the law due to the availability of one of the procedural or substantive reasons that lead to the expiry of the dispute before it is settled by a final ruling for the dispute between its two parties that may not prevent the renewal of the dispute or prevent it. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Ajyad Thamer Nayef and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Muhammad Shahada and Assistant Professor Dr. Ruwa Khalil Ibrahim and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Saddam Khazal Yahya.
