The College of Law at the University of Mosul is the first in Iraq and is nominated for the Arab Moot Court Competition for the academic year 2024-2025,,,

Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul and the members of the College Council and with the distinguished efforts of Assistant Professor Dr. Faris Muhammad Hussein and a number of our college lecturers and based on the results of the final qualifiers with our college student team obtaining the first place in Iraq after defeating the student team of the College of Law at the University of Baghdad, our college team has been nominated as an official representative of the Republic of Iraq to participate in the Arab Moot Court Competition for the academic year 2024-2025, which will be held by the Kuwaiti University, noting that the above competition will be held at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman for the period April 14-16, 2025. It is worth noting that the above competition contributes greatly to developing student skills and enhancing the spirit of legal competition among participating Arab universities. The above participation also represents the distinguished role of the Deanship of our college in the context of its continuous support for all its members and students in the work leading to demonstrating the scientific status The solid colleges of the University of Mosul, which is a scientific platform and a cognitive edifice, contribute, along with its sister universities from other Iraqi universities, to raising the name of our Iraq high in international and global forums.
