Master’s thesis in the Public Law Branch on Criminal Liability Arising from Artificial Intelligence Vehicle Accidents,,,
On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on criminal liability arising from artificial intelligence vehicle accidents, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and a number of members of the College Council and its lecturers.
The thesis submitted by the student Raad Fathi Sultan in the Public Law Branch dealt with the liability arising from harmful acts and their consequences, whether criminal or civil, and the types of increasing criminal liability due to the multiplicity of accidents that cause harm and danger to human existence and physical safety.
The thesis aims to state the optimistic vision of artificial intelligence vehicles, as it is expected that they will become safe and reliable, as artificial intelligence vehicles are one of the fruits of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Abdullah, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf and Lecturer Dr. Rana Abdel Moneim Yahya, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Abdul Hussein.
