A scientific workshop on enhancing resilience in the face of violent extremism,,,,

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Luqman Othman Ahmed, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, the above unit, in cooperation with the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence, held a scientific workshop entitled Strengthening Resilience in the Face of Violent Extremism on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, which witnessed the presentation of many research papers that dealt with the participatory approach to resilience and prevention of violent extremism and value building and its impact on confronting intellectual extremism among youth and criminal confrontation of intellectual extremism in the current Iraqi Penal Code. The workshop witnessed a distinguished student interaction by directing many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it. In conclusion, Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi distributed certificates of appreciation to the researchers and to the head and members of the preparatory committee in appreciation For their efforts in holding this workshop, which is part of a series of scientific, research, cultural and student activities for our college during the current academic year 2024-2025.
