Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khaled Jassim, one of the teachers of the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated in the scientific workshop titled “The Legal Rights of the Abused Family,” which was held by the College of Arts at the University of Mosul, which dealt with women’s rights in Islamic law, international documents, national constitutions and legislation, in addition to the Anti-Domestic Violence Law No. 8 of 2011 in the Kurdistan region, and the workshop witnessed a remarkable presence of academics, researchers and representatives of civil society organizations who asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it.
