Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul, and the members of the College Council, the Public Law Branch in our college held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, its scientific workshop tagged tax litigation in Iraq, Where a number of professors and instructors of the Public Law Branch / majoring in public finance and financial legislation presented a number of research papers in which they addressed the definition of tax litigation and its principles, the nature of tax disputes, tax litigation systems, adjudication of tax disputes, and the position of the Iraqi legislator on tax litigation. The workshop witnessed a remarkable presence from Researchers, academics, and those interested in legal affairs, in addition to the faculty members and its scientific and administrative staff, who asked many questions and inquiries about the subject of the workshop. They were answered in detail by those in charge of it. This workshop comes within a series of scientific, cultural, and student activities for our college during the current academic year 2022-2023.
