Among the achievements of the College of Science/Department of Biology Sciences in the field of scientific research, a distinguished research team, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Ibrahim Sulaiman and including Master's student Israa Omar Humaidan, achieved a significant scientific milestone by registering four new bacterial strains in the GenBank database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
