As part of ongoing efforts to advance scientific research and document local microbial diversity, a faculty member from the Department of Biology, in collaboration with a master's student, has successfully registered four bacterial isolates in the database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) as part of the research requirements for a master's thesis.
